Meet The Man Who Played DIRTY With Kriti Sanon And Caused DOUBLE TROUBLE To Her
Kriti Sanon is said to have run into a muddle of sorts. While her close friends say that she is happily sitting over a project whose producers are soon going to make an an announcement of, some sources from Bollywood also say that she has lost out on two films, courtesy a man who didn't want her in one of his upcoming ventures.

The man in question is producer Sunil Khetrapal who dished out a box-office dud Rocky Handsome with John Abraham and is now putting together the Hindi version of The Invisible Guest with John again in the lead.

The Hindi version of The Invisible Guest drove Kriti to let Vishal Bhardwaj film starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui pass. The dates were sort of coinciding and buzz is, Kriti had committed to the John starrer. SpotboyE.com was the first to bring you the initial story that Kriti is not doing the John starrer.

And then? Now, she is not doing either of the films- neither the John nor the Nawaz starrer!

Aur yeh hua kaise? Let's roll it out...

Rewind: Taapsee Pannu had been asked for the same flick by Khetrapal. But soon, we heard that Kriti was doing it.

It so happened that after the Toilet: Ek Prem Katha producer Kriarj Entertainment joined Khetrapal, a mutual consensus to have Kriti was arrived at.

A few days rolled by and little did Kriti know what lay in store.

Suddenly, there were loud rumours that Taapsee and not Kriti was doing the film.

We hear, Khetrapal wanted only Taapsee.

This led to irrevocable differences between Khetrapal and Kriarj, which in turn saw the exit of Kriarj too from the film.

SpotboyE.com has it that John had even met Kriti and everything was going fine for the leggy lass of Raabta. Now, one wonders why John pushed the envelope if Khetrapal had not given his nod on Kriti. Or did he change his mind back to Taapsee after bringing Kriti on board?

Last heard, Khetrapal is still scouting for a Studio to back the John-Taapsee film. And we all know, how tough it is in today's times to get money bags.

When contacted to explain why he wanted Taapsee and not Kriti, Khetrapal was a bit funny at the start. He replied asking, "Which film?" When we told (err, reminded?) him that we were talking about the remake of The Invisible Guest starring John he elaborated but gave nothing away. Here is his elaboration, which came in 3 WhatsApp messages: We have just bought the rights for adapting the film. As matter of practice, we don't comment on cast and crew till the packaging of the film is done. And the packaging for this project is still underway. Once the principal cast is locked, only then will the same be talked about.

We then wrote to him to say that we believed that Kriarj was keen on Kriti but he insisted on Taapsee. Khetrapal responded with another WhatsApp message: Packaging includes Studio. And Studio announcement will be along with the packaging.

The Invisible Guest which released in 2016, was about a successful entrepreneur accused of murder, who has less than 3 hours to come up with an impregnable defense.

We also spoke to John's manager Meenakshi, who said, "Khetrapal had signed Taapsee, and till date JA Entertainment or John Abraham have not committed to this project. There have been talks of John presenting this film but nothing has materialised. Hence, whatever questions need to be asked, should be directed to Kheterpal; he owns the rights of the original film. And as far as Kriarj is concerned, both JA Entertainment and Kriarj are committed to work on other projects in future as well apart from Parmanu."

Referring to the first line of Meenakshi's quote, we can't avoid asking: Will John eventually do the Hindi remake of The Invisible Guest?
